Week 10B: Blogging for Business

Organization for Blogging


When it comes to categorizing my blog. I think that I wanted to categorize my posts by different home decor areas such as living room, kitchen, bathroom, bedrooms, closets, etc... Each space would get its own category that way I could discuss the different design options, tips and tricks, and products that can be used in that space. I think that these categories will allow my business to grow because it makes it easier for potential clients to see what projects that I am working on and what tips that I have provided that shows my level of expertise. Also, I can add my own products that I create or endorse on my blog so that people know what products I have and where to buy it! By providing organization and a personal touch to your blog, you can allow your customer to get to know you and your product/brand! The more they know and like you then the more they will buy from you!

Week 5B: Defining A Target Market

My target market is business owners within the health and wellness industry. The demographics of my target market are men and women between ages 25-65 years old, who have an Associates degree or better and make between $25,000-$250,000 annually. They can be any ethnicity. These people work in the health and wellness industries such as yoga, personal training, message therapy, birth-work, acupuncture, alternative medicine, health food stores, and many more. Therefore, they value health and wellness, eating right, exercising, probably more spiritual in religion. They enjoy the outdoors and nature, believe in clean energy, and saving the animals and earth. They also value have an active lifestyle, value alternative medicine, and use body and energy work to reward themselves.
