Week 2: Overview of Social Media Use

Image
Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Tumblr, Blogger, Snapchat, Tinder! The list goes on and on. Today, it seems we have so many social media platforms. We use social media for almost every aspect of out life from making friends to dating to having a business. The social media platforms that I think are geared towards personal use include Facebook, Snapchat, Tinder, and Pinterest. While a few of these do offer support for businesses (Facebook and Pinterest), it seems that people have not caught on to using those features predominately. Week 1: First Blog Entry

Welcome! My name is Savannah and I hope that you enjoy my blog! I chose the template "Contempo" because I think that it reflects my style and personality but it also could be used for my business one day. The first feature that I found appealing from this template was how organized it was. I love organization and order so for me this template was perfect. This helps in my line of business because people need to trust me with their personal items and their home. In order to gain that trust, I need to be upfront and forthright with my clients that goes for my internet presence as well as in real life. I also love the bio section underneath the picture because once again it allows me to gain a clients or followers trust and also gives the...

Week 3 Part A: Communication- Business & Consumer

As American's we consume products and services! It is just our nature but as part of the process of gathering and consuming products and services, we also have a level of satisfaction that we need fulfilled: communication. We need to feel that the businesses we support with our hard earned money value us as there customers. Communication between the business and consumer is one of the most important aspects to having a successful organization. I have had experiences in the past when I found it difficult to communicate my issues with a business. Most of my experiences have to do with customer service, or how the employees at the establishment have treated me. I felt like I wasn't being heard! I think social media is the best thing when it comes to getting heard and your problem solved. I have seen many people on social media use it as a platform to try to communicate with a business. It makes it easier and less stressful for the consumer and employees (because often the employ...
